We talk a lot in this community about being intentional with our money, our goals, and the life we're working to build. But intentionality doesn't stop there. It should also extend to what we consume and the voices we allow into our daily lives.
One of the most valuable tools in my personal growth has been podcasts. They have a way of introducing us to new ideas, challenging our assumptions, and helping us see our lives through a different lens. Sometimes all it takes is one conversation, one perspective, or one question to make you rethink how you're approaching your finances, your career, your relationships, or your future.
I think everyone should have a few podcasts in rotation that align with where they are in life and where they hope to go next. Whether you're focused on building wealth, becoming a homeowner, starting a business, navigating a major life transition, or simply trying to think bigger, there is value in learning from people who have expertise, experiences, and perspectives different from your own.
The reality is that growth often begins with exposure. Exposure to new ideas. Exposure to different ways of thinking. Exposure to people who have accomplished things we haven't yet accomplished. Podcasts provide that access in a way that is convenient, affordable, and often incredibly impactful.
If you're looking for another way to invest in yourself, consider being more intentional about what you're listening to. The right podcast won't just entertain you — it can educate you, expand your vision, challenge your thinking, and inspire you to take action.
These are five podcasts that have done exactly that for me.
1. Market Mondays
I have to start here because this podcast has been a game changer — not just in how I think about money, but in what I have been able to do with it. Market Mondays is hosted by Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings of Earn Your Leisure, alongside investor Ian Dunlap, and together they break down the stock market, investing, and financial news in a way that is genuinely accessible and engaging. No finance degree required.
What I love about this podcast is that it does not just tell you what the market is doing — it explains why it matters and what you can actually do about it. Over time, listening consistently has shifted the way I approach money entirely. It has moved me from someone who knew she needed to invest to someone who actually does. And that shift has added nearly six figures to my wealth. That is not an exaggeration. That is what happens when you start putting the right information to work.
If building long-term wealth is a priority for you — and I know it is for most of us in this community — this one belongs at the top of your list.

2. The BossBabe Podcast
For the woman who is building something — whether it is a full business, a growing side income, or an idea she has been sitting on a little too long — this podcast is going to feel like a strategy session with someone who has already figured it out.
Hosted by entrepreneur Natalie Ellis, The BossBabe Podcast goes beyond motivation. It gets into the real work of content strategy, revenue streams, scaling, brand building, and the mindset it takes to stay consistent when the journey gets hard. Natalie treats entrepreneurship as the serious financial vehicle it is, and every episode reflects that.
Your business is not just a passion project. It is a path to ownership, independence, and wealth. This podcast reminds you of that and then gives you the tools to act on it.

3. Money Rehab with Nicole Lapin
Nicole Lapin was one of the first people who truly helped me unde rstand money. After graduating college, I picked up her book Rich Bitch and it genuinely changed how I thought about my finances. So when she launched Money Rehab, I was already a fan.
The podcast carries that same energy — straightforward, practical, and completely judgment free. Nicole is a financial journalist and bestselling author who has a gift for making money feel approachable rather than intimidating. Episodes cover everything from debt strategy and credit building to taxes, investing basics, and building a financial plan that works for your actual life.
So many of us were never taught this stuff. Not because we were not capable, but because we simply were not given access. Money Rehab closes that gap and gives you the vocabulary and confidence to make better financial decisions starting now.

4. Brown Ambition
If there is one podcast on this list that truly speaks to where we are and where we are going, it is this one.
Brown Ambition is co-hosted by Mandi "Money" Woodruff and Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche . These are two of the most respected women in personal finance and they bring both the expertise and the cultural context that makes the advice actually land. They cover salary negotiation, emergency funds, investing, entrepreneurship, career transitions, and the real financial landscape we are navigating as ambitious women.
What sets this podcast apart is not just what they know but how they deliver it. The conversation feels like being in the room with two brilliant women who genuinely want to see you win. That kind of energy is rare, and it makes every episode worth your time.

5. Rich Little Brokegirls
Last but certainly not least is Rich Little Broke Girls. I am obsessed with this podcast and honestly with Kimberly Bizu as a whole. This is a required weekly listen for me.
Rich Little Brokegirls is hosted by Kimberly Bizu — a New York-based founder and community builder who created this platform as a love letter to women figuring out modern womanhood together. The conversations are unfiltered, real, and full of the kind of wisdom that comes from women who are actually in it. Kimberly brings guests who are on their way to the top, navigating major life transitions, and rewriting what success looks like on their own terms.
What draws me to this podcast is the community it represents. It is the reminder that we do not have to figure any of this out alone. Whether the conversation is about business, relationships, ambition, or simply becoming — there is always something to take away. This is the kind of podcast you send to your circle because you know they need to hear it too.

The Women Who Are Building Are Always Learning
We say it often in this community because it is true — the women who are creating real change in their financial lives are not always the ones who make the most money. They are the ones who are consistently putting themselves in the right rooms, asking the right questions, and never allowing themselves to stay comfortable in what they do not know.
A podcast is a room. And the ones on this list are worth showing up to regularly.
Start with one. Let it stretch you. Share it with a woman in your circle who is on the same journey. This is what community is about.
